Cisco Bug: CSCup02323 - Errors between STUN Client (B2BUA) x8.1 and STUN Server x7.1 (VCSe).
Feb 27, 2018
- Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Lync to VCS calls fail due to media negotiation problems. The B2BUA is offering ICE on behalf of the ex90, but only succeeds in offering a 'host'IP, i.e. it's own IP address. Debug logs show that the B2BUA is unable to retrieve the expected candidates from the TURN Server due to an error in processing allocation request/responses to/from the server. Conditions: VCS-E run with X7.1 as TURN server where VCS (X7.2 or newer version) or Expressway (X8.1 or newer version) works as STUN client include IPv6 TURN in offer, address family type = 0x17 attribute, which TURN Server X7.1 (or older version) doesn't understand this newly added attribute.
