Cisco Bug: CSCuo98829 - extra characters added on WLAN while searching for client in Client page

Last Modified

Jul 01, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controllers

Known Affected Releases

7.4(121.0)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
While searching for a client in WLC search tab in the second page using search filter as WLAN, extra characters are added to the WLAN, which makes impossible to locate the client. This happens when we have spaces in the WLAN name.

eg:

WLAN ID : Cisco Test

Search for the client entry on the second search page with filter type as WLAN = Cisco Test

The search result shows it is searching for Cisco Testst

As you can see "st" gets appended to Cisco Test

This happens only when we have space in SSID/WLAN name

Conditions:
When WLAN name has space in between

eg:

Cisco Test

This does not happen in CiscoTest
