May 13, 2020
- Cisco ONS 15454 Series Multiservice Provisioning Platforms
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: TNC goes for the reload while attempting several login/logout with specific setup where ASR9K is connection to ONS node. Conditions: Steps to recreate the issue are: 1. Have a setup with one ONS node, and one ASR9K node. 2. One CTC connected to the node; SUPERUSER IDLE timeout set to 2 minutes 3. run a .bat script that open several TL1 sessions on port 3083. 4. while the sessions are opened the following commands are run against the NE: ACT-USER::CISCO15:aaa::otbu+1; RTRV-NE-GEN:::aaa; RTRV-OCH::all:aaa; 5. No logout is done and all sessions are closed for IDLE timeout expiration After a while TNC reset with the excGetLog showing tProvMgr as cause of the reset. Based on troubleshooting it looks like a CORBA issue Trigger has been identified as continuous login/logout of an EMS to the TL1 port 3083. A script has been prepared to allow multiple login/logout sessions and disconnection for IDLE timeout.
