Cisco Bug: CSCuo98011 - 2.2(2c) ucsm dcosag coredumps on firmware upgraded from UCSCentral
Feb 22, 2018
- Cisco Unified Computing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: UCSM process can crash (dump core) when Infra firmware upgrade (ucs-k9-bundle-infra.2.2.2c.A.bin) is initiated from UCS-Central. The core dump is related to "svc_sam_dcosAG" process. The process "svc"sam_dcosAG" restarts itself after the crash. This only affects UCSM release 2.2(2c). Conditions: This happens when - UCSM is registered to UCS-Central using IPv4 address AND - Firmware upgrade for UCSM Release 2.2(2c) is initiated from UCS-Central and the image bundles are not present in UCSM. During firmware upgrade, when image bundles are not already available in UCSM, then UCSM will try to download it from UCS-Central.
