Description (partial)

On 9250i and 9148s platform, the IVR vsan topology must be set to manual mode before performing ISSU or ISSD operations when there are multiple switches vsan's involved in IVR zone. If the devices are part of local VSAN in 9148s / 9250i platform, then no changes on IVR vsan topology required. Changing the IVR vsan topology to manual mode will avoid any traffic loss during ISSU / ISSD operations.

IVR VSAN topology should be configured to manual mode to avoid any traffic loss when multiple switches VSANs are involved during ISSU / ISSD operations.

Commands to convert IVR VSAN topology auto to manual mode:
ivr copy auto-topology user-configured-topology
ivr vsan-topology activate
ivr commit

To avoid traffic loss during ISSU / ISSD over IVR VSAN zones across multiple switches, please convert IVR VSAN topology to manual mode from auto mode.
