Switch deletes running 802.1x authentication process and start over upon receiving CDP port UP from the IP phone. It makes authentication process fail on the machines which can only complete it in frst run.

PC with 802.1x capability connected behind IP phone. While booting PC sends CDP port UP to the switch, which restarts 802.1x authentication process.
