Description (partial)

Symptom:
in CMTS with PRE-5 during busy hour and   high speeds transaction , (150/250 Mbps) TCP traffic faces speed dips  where previously (with PRE-4) these modems had no issues, and slow performance is seen , which means CM doesn't get the desired speed which is supposed to get , and the situation even max limit BW is not reached some packet drops are observed. It has direct impact on customer service.

The degradation is highly variable based on the conditions of the network since the trigger is affected by the amount of data traffic, the number of CM channels, and the utilization of mac domain.

Conditions:
Normal Operation with usually high speed TCP Traffic in busy Hours, the wideband CMs with multiple downstream channels are affected. Single session HTTP session are affected.
