Cisco Bug: CSCuo88467 - Default route pointing to the HA is deleted after every MIP registration
Apr 18, 2019
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When provisioning 4G LTE with IP mobility services and you do not force traffic over the IP mobility tunnel the MIP will not get installed. When in this state, the system will constantly register with the home agent for the specified MIP life time. This will generate multiple tunnel up messages which will impact EEM script options that are needed to maintain network tools automation. Conditions: installing 4G IP mobility in an existing system which has a primary WAN service with BGP up and running. Following the IP mobility configuration and establishment to the home agent, you will see this issue manifest it self.
