Known Affected Releases

7.0(1)N1(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
saving the config hangs for about 30 seconds
issue can happen when saving running config to startup, or even by saving running config to bootflash etc.

alprgaedgsadcnxb05# copy running-config startup-config
[########################################] 100%
[hangs for about 30 seconds]
Copy complete, now saving to disk (please wait)...

Conditions:
PPM has overhead of processing all the config-profile-aware commands (e.g vlan, svi, etc..) as part of "copy r s" even when there is no port-profiles or config-sync configurations. This is new feature added during 7.X release and as a result "copy r s" processing will take more time when compared to <=6.X releases
