Cisco Bug: CSCuo79500 - erratic behavior saving usNIC Connection Policies

Last Modified

Mar 01, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Computing System

Known Affected Releases

2.2(1c)A 2.2(1d)A 2.2(1d)B

Description (partial)

Symptom:
In UCSM 2.2(1d), you can't have more than two vNICs using the usNIC policy in the LAN Connectivity Policies. The minute you add a second vNIC with a usNIC policy, the first vNIC with a usNIC Connection Policy changes back to Dynamic vNIC. In fact, when you try to change the original one back to usNIC, you won't get a Saved Changes button to be selected.

NOTE: this was only a cosmetic bug. When the user would select a usnic policy when they re-opened the dialog the issue was that the usnic radio button wasn't selected but the policy itself was still set. This did not effect functionality of usnic.

Conditions:
UCSM 2.2(1d)
