Description (partial)

BGP peer terminates session with NOTIFICATION 3/10 (illegal network).

This symptom occurs when a recursively known VPNv4 route is advertised from an IOS-based router to XR or JunOS based router. For IOS/IOS-XE to IOS/IOS-XE peering, the receiving IOS router will ignore the incorrect prefix so the symptom is not seen.
