Cisco Bug: CSCuo75418 - Callee also receives call pickup notification when URI dialled
Feb 22, 2018
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When a user who is configured for URI dialing, and who is a member of a call pickup group, is called using their Directory URI they will receive both an incoming call notification and a few seconds later a notification that a call is available for pickup. If the same user is dialed using the Directory Number of their primary extension they will correctly only receive the incoming call notification.( and not receive call pickup notification which is the correct behavior) Conditions: A user whose directory URI is set, and who has both a a primary extension and phone configured, will have a Directory URI record automatically created on their primary extension Directory Number. That Directory URI record will be the primary URI for the DN, and will be created in the non-editable 'Directory URI' partition. In turn, the 'Directory URI' partition can be mapped to an administrator-managed partition using the 'Directory URI Alias Partition' enterprise parameter. If that enterprise parameter is set to the partition that the user's primary extension Directory Number is part of, then when the user's Directory URI is dialled, they should only receive an incoming call notification. However they also receive a notification informing them that a call is available for pickup.
