Cisco Bug: CSCuo71657 - transcoder not inserted when SIP Phone codec locked for recording
Aug 23, 2019
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: If a SIP Phone is being recorded, and a codec change occurs - instead of detecting the codec lock and looking for a transcoder, CUCM reINVITES to the phone which detects that it is recording and sends a 488. This 488 is forwarded out the SIP Trunk. Conditions: If a phone is on a recorded call, and a transfer or redirect occurs such that the codecs are changed this occurs.
