  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)

Known Affected Releases

10.5(1.10000.7) 8.6(2.22900.9)

Description (partial)

If a SIP Phone is being recorded, and a codec change occurs - instead of detecting the codec lock and looking for a transcoder, CUCM reINVITES to the phone which detects that it is recording and sends a 488. This 488 is forwarded out the SIP Trunk.

If a phone is on a recorded call, and a transfer or redirect occurs such that the codecs are changed this occurs.
