Cisco Bug: CSCuo69975 - PI reflecting wrong Interface/IP when using AAA override

Last Modified

Nov 27, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Prime Infrastructure

Known Affected Releases

2.0(0.0.294)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
5508 WLC running 7.4.121.0 with local mode AP's (for testing we have used AP 1141) & PI 2.0

1. WLAN - configured with default Interface/VLAN (x) & AAA override puts the Client in different VLAN y
2. Client connects successfully and AAA override kicks in successfully allowing the client to get an IP from VLAN y
3. Checking the Client entry on the WLC we see the IP & VLAN Interface to be VLAN y and the Client to be connected successfully
4. When we check the Client entry in PI we will see the Client having an IP in VLAN y but it reflects the Interface to be VLAN x
5. We check the details for the client on PI and we see the IP & Interface mapped correctly as VLAN y

Conditions:
While using AAA override and monitoring the Client via PI.
