Cisco Bug: CSCuo69406 - Jabber Video Movi Acks multiple SIP 200OK yielding multiple RTP streams

Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Jabber Video for TelePresence (Movi)

Known Affected Releases

4.7 4.8 4.9

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Jabber Video for Telepresence when presented with multiple SIP 200 OK messages during call set-up will ack the 200 OKs. In theory, only one 200 OK should be ACK'd. The result is multiple RTP streams being established which can result in media failure shortly after call set-up. 15-30 seconds into call has been observed where there will be one way video between Jabber and an MCU.

Conditions:
A "forked" call or call routing loop where an endpoint or MCU receives a SIP invite twice can result in multiple 200 OKs being sent by the endpoint or MCU when an ACK to the 200 OK has not been seen yet.
