Description (partial)

Symptom:
CIFS AO process does not start. Attempt to stop (to clear cifs cache) hangs. Situation remains accross reloads.  errorlog/cifs/cifs_err.log file is not updated.

Conditions:
Unexpected reloads during operation leading to inconsistencies in the cifs cache
