Cisco Bug: CSCuo55618 - The CDP MIB alwasy give interface's IP from the first SVI's IP
Mar 20, 2017
- Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When some SVIs are configured on a switch, the CDP snmp query on the interface's IP address returns the IP Address of the 1st SVI configured. When that SVI (first) is deleted and CDP cache is refreshed then it will pick up again the first SVI IP from the remaining list. Conditions: If in a L2 network the port in question is a trunk port and 1st SVI IP is of vlan which is not allowed to trunk then it will create a state where packet is sent with the IP in vlan which is not trunking.
