Cisco Bug: CSCuo51185 - Numeric URI dialling through tunnelled QSIG SIP trunk routed incorrectly

Last Modified

Nov 27, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)

Known Affected Releases

9.1(2.12028.1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When trying to make a call to 2345@domain3.com for this specific call flow, it will be disconnected in CUCM2/SME with "SIP/2.0 404 Not Found" reason because DA is made for directory number and not for URI number type.
AppInfo  |SIPCdpc(105) - getCcSignalCnNameAndNumberInfo: identityFlag=0xff host:domain3.com, user:2345, nd:2345, ti:DN
SIP/2.0 404 Not Found
To: <sip:2345@domain3.com>

Conditions:
Call flow: CUCM1/LEAF (domain1.com) --> SIP trunk (QSIG) --> CUCM2/SME (domain2.com) --> CUCM3/ISP
When configuring a single SIP trunk (with QSIG encapsulation and "SIP profile: Dial String Interpretation -- Phone numbers consists of characters ...") for directory numbers (ex.:1234@IP_address), URI numeric (ex.:2345@domain3.com) and alphanumeric (ex.:test@domain3.com) numbers, URI numeric dialling will not succeed (disconnected call)
