Cisco Bug: CSCuo41566 - Live interface explorer go to remote interface lacks node filter
Oct 16, 2014
- Cisco MATE Live
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: From Live's interface explorer page, selecting Go to Remote Interface shows the interface explorer with a filter only for the Name column. It also needs a filter for the Node column. Both filters also need anchors to avoid matching unrelated values. For example, when the remote node is interface TenGigabitEthernet9/1 on cr1.nyc, Live returns a list of every interface with TenGigabitEthernet9/1 in the name. The list includes TenGigabitEthernet9/1 on unrelated nodes. It also includes interfaces such as TenGigabitEthernet9/1/1. We need a filter in the Node column so only TenGigabitEthernet9/1 on the remote node is returned. We also need anchors on both filters to distinguish between nodes cr1.nyc and scr1.nyc and between interfaces GigabitEthernet9/1 and TenGigabitEthernet9/1/1. Conditions: See symptoms.
