Cisco Bug: CSCuo40173 - Add Email address attribute when enable mail authentication

Last Modified

Oct 16, 2015

Products (1)

  • Cisco Webex Meetings Server

Known Affected Releases

1.5.1.323

Description (partial)

Symptom:
If Mail server policy only allows that the input authentication account can send mails, mail's from email value should be same as the authentication account. If not, related mail cannot be sent out.

e.g :
--host's email is aa@com.cn,
--host schedule a meeting and invite attendees,
--only the mail to host can be send out, because email address is admin@com.cn, attendee cannot receive mails, relate mail address is aa@com.cn.

So CWMS should allow customer to input valid mail address, make sure all mails can be sent using the mail address from customer's mail server.

Conditions:
CWMS 1.5
