Description (partial)

Symptom:
Issuing a 'Backup Now' on an active Media Server starts and completes very quickly.
Checking the Media Server disk in VSOM it reports 26Gig of 50Gig in use.
Checking the LTS server in VSOM it shows 33mb of 100Gig in use.
Checking again days later after the scheduled backup would have a chance to complete the disk report on LTS is unchanged at 33mb of 100Gig in use.

Conditions:
3x IP6050 cameras have templates to backup continuous recordings with retentions of 90 days on a schedule Daily at Midnight.
Media server with 3x cams is configured to backup to dedicated LTS server with a 100G media partition.
All servers are 7.5 FCS 32i builds via OVA deployment on UCS servers in VMware ESXi 5.0
