In some cases the CMDB Backup can fail on any given volume. The following messages can identify the failure:

Mar 28 10:42:46  ce-3  CMDB backup operation failed on volume 4 
Mar 28 10:42:46  ce-3  warning: CMDB backup failed on volume 4

Conditions:
VDS-TC Application 5.1.0 and below
