Description (partial)
Symptom: I/O Memory depletion in the Active SUP SP leads to a crash. The memory depletion is seen in the Public Medium Buffers pool: Medium buffers, 256 bytes (total 96801, permanent 3000, peak 96801 @ 00:08:05): 0 in free list (64 min, 3000 max allowed) 19262507 hits, 64449 misses, 15 trims, 93816 created 32771 failures (72047 no memory) Conditions: The standby SUP was reloading constantly due a hardware failure.
