Cisco Bug: CSCuo22415 - Encapsulation combobox scalability issue with large number of items
Jun 25, 2014
- Cisco Prime Network Analysis Module Software
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: On Internet Explorer, some pages take a long time to load (potentially more than 5 minutes). On Firefox or Chrome, some comboboxes (dropdown lists) take a long time to open. For example, from the Traffic Summary page, click the Filter button on the upper left, then under Encapsulation, expand the VLAN item, and then the LWAPDATA item. This reveals the UserMAC combobox; attempting to open this combobox may result in the browser becoming unresponsive if there is a large number of MAC addresses. During this time, there may be browser warning messages about a script taking a long time to run. Conditions: This problem affects versions 6.0(1) and 6.0(2) only. This problem has been observed on a NAM monitoring traffic containing many unique MAC addresses (upwards of 100,000).
