Last Modified

Nov 09, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASA 5500-X Series Firewalls

Known Affected Releases

8.4(3) 8.6(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Currently it is documented that ASA can create more 1550-byte blocks, up to a maximum of 8192 to be allocated dynamically as necessary. However, there is a change in this value to which block 1550 can scale. So a related document needs to be corrected accordingly.

Conditions:
The value more than 8192 can be found as a MAX value for 1550 blocks when issuing show blocks command.
