Description (partial)

The issue has been fixed in fijiplus_cco_vxlan branch. The fijiplus_cco and MR1 does not support openflow support and hence the release note is not valid for those releases.


On N3548 platform, following message "VLAN_PORT_LIMIT_EXCEEDED" appears after switch bootsup.

STP-2-VLAN_PORT_LIMIT_EXCEEDED: The number of vlan-port instances (9400) exceeded [MST mode] recommended limit of 9000

Symptom:On N3548 platform, following message "VLAN_PORT_LIMIT_EXCEEDED" appears after switch bootsup.

STP-2-VLAN_PORT_LIMIT_EXCEEDED: The number of vlan-port instances (9400) exceeded [MST mode] recommended limit of 9000

Conditions:The issue appears on N3548 platform at bootup, if all the below conditions are satisfied:

* STP is running in MST mode
* Number of VLAN-PORT instances are more than 9000. 
* The switch is reloaded with new system image to upgrade/downgrade and "install all" is not used.
