Description (partial)
Symptom: With ESAM configured, an HLS playlist may not contain conditioning tags which mark segments belonging to an advertisement. Also, conditioning tags belonging to a blackout may start late (upon the receipt of the first SCTE-35 Content Identification marker, rather than on the Program Start marker.) A message similar to the following will be observed in the encapsulator.log file: 2014-04-09 14:17:27.870: WARNING, encapsulator[20449]:Channel: test-esam-hls-channel[test-esam-hls-channel:83c786fc-175d-448b-b59e-f5ba4637db1c]:EID[3] [258.66838] [A] Code: 0x0 Msg: 'SCTE35HLS: ignoring splice OUT too late (splice_time=3587248825, lastIDRframePTS=3618555345#012' Value: [0][0x0]#012 File: src/ManzanitaAudioAlignedRemuxer.cpp, Function: ProcessSCTE35CommandSpliceOut, Line: 580 Conditions: This may occur if the SCTE-35 marker starting the advertisement or blackout occurs immediately after there is a PTS discontinuity (backward jump), and no IDR frame occurs prior to the SCTE-35 marker's referenced splice PTS.
