Last Modified

Jan 28, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches

Known Affected Releases

5.2(1)SV3(1.1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
If host running N1K is rebooted or LACP config is removed from N1K and added back after the ports go into Individual state on N7K, LACP channel is not re-established and ports go into Individual state.

Conditions:
The "no lacp suspend-individual" command needs to be configured on the N7K portchannel interfaces. If not, ports will be suspended and N1K VEM will be unable to communicate with the VSM.
