Cisco Bug: CSCuo17702 - YOS-2S Willboot does not report for several invalid DIMM configurations
Mar 02, 2018
- Cisco Unified Computing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Will Boot reports incorrectly with certain DIMM configurations. Conditions: On B260-M4 and B460-M4 blades, if in any DIMM channel a DIMM is present in a higher slot number than a blank slot (e.g. slot 1 empty, slot 2 populated OR slot 1 and 3 populated and slot 2 empty), Will Boot does not report this as a failure, but the blade will fail to boot. On B460-M4 blades, if no DIMMS are present in the Master blade, but the Slave blade has correctly populated DIMMS, Will Boot falsely reports this as a failure and the blade will not be booted by the system.
