Symptom: Fabric Interconnect HA state shows 'HA NOT READY' on one FI, however shows 'HA READY' on the other FI. 'show cluster extended-state' from the Primary FI shows FAILED_LINK. This FAILED_LINK state can appear on the Primary, or Subordinate FI. A: FAILED LINK PRIMARY B: FAILED LINK SUBORDINATE A: memb state UP, lead state PRIMARY, mgmt services state: FAILED_LINK B: memb state UP, lead state SUBORDINATE, mgmt services state: FAILED_LINK heartbeat state PRIMARY_OK 'show cluster extended-state' from the Subordinate FI shows HA READY with everything UP B: UP, SUBORDINATE A: UP, PRIMARY B: memb state UP, lead state SUBORDINATE, mgmt services state: UP A: memb state UP, lead state PRIMARY, mgmt services state: UP heartbeat state PRIMARY_OK Conditions: This can be triggered after an FI reboot, or during excessive system stress which causes delays in the UCS Management processes.
