Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)

Known Affected Releases

10.5(0.98000.338)

Description (partial)

Initial, Periodic MOH not getting played when we change moH values to new value during queued call

Symptom:
I have chosen MOH Audio Source File as : tone on Hold.
2.	DN 5002 calls HP number 7676, agent answers the call.
3.	Now User 5005 calls HP number, User hears the Initial, periodic Ann followed with Tone.
4.	Now user 5004 calls HP number, User hears the Initial, periodic Ann followed with Tone.
5.	User 5004 disconnects the call.
6.	Again, I changed the MOH Audio Source File as :sample audio source when user 5005 is already in queue(step3).
7.	Now user 5004 calls again to HP number, I don?t hear any ANN for this user, But I see the timer value display on phone
8.	I disconnected both calls in queue i.e User 5005 and 5004.
9.	Now when I dial to HP number I hear the ANN, followed new MOH sample audio source

My query here is after step6 , Why during step 7, I don?t hear any ANN ?
If new value will be taken only after queue is empty, I expect User to take old MOH source value at least rather than going blank without any ANN .When I try to DE queue the call (step 7) I can successfully do.

Conditions:
Initial, Periodic MOH not getting played when we change moH values to new value during queued call
