Cisco Bug: CSCuo07137 - VXME Utilities 9.7.0 downgrade/upgrade cannot be done appropriately
Mar 08, 2015
- Cisco Virtualization Experience Client 6000 Series
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: VXME Utilities 22.214.171.124.171834 downgrade cannot be done appropriately Conditions: When a user on his HVD has already installed VXME Utilities 9.7.0, he should be able to install previous or later versions of VXME Utilities without uninstalling the current version first or the installation process should delete the current version and then install the previous one as it is the case with the previous VXME Utilities versions (I think, not sure exactly how it works, but definitely only the lastly installed version is present with the old versions of VXME Utilities 1.0), instead when the installation is complete HVD ends-up with two versions of VXME Utilities. This is just the case with the 9.7.0 VXME Utilities.
