Cisco Bug: CSCuo07043 - Allow Users to change Internal Lan of CTS endpoints

Last Modified

Feb 05, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco TelePresence TX9000 Series

Known Affected Releases

1.9.6.1

Description (partial)

Symptom:
CTS endpoint tries to register to CUCM(192.168.X.X). It is never able to register to CUCM as the CTS is using 192.168.X.X as it's internal LAN and routes the request between it's internal components. CTS endpoint will not be able to register to CUCM.

Conditions:
All CTS endpoints that use an internal LAN to communicate with its components are affected. The specific situation is if the CTS endpoint is using an external IP(IP address for the System) of 172.X.X.X, and a configured tftp address (CUCM address) of 192.168.X.X. The CTS endpoint will use 192.168.X.X as it's internal LAN by default and in doing so will break it's communication with CUCM.
