Symptom: click on Dial Voicemail Preferences IVR present in Voicemail tab after Voicemail part is configured,leads to http 404 error message when Webdialer service is either down or not activated not letting end user know the exact cause of the 404 message being displayed Conditions: 1)Add an end user belonging with role "CCM End Users" via CCM Admin. 2)Make sure Webdialer service is either down or not activated from Service Activation page. 3)Login to Selfcare Portal with end user credentials who has voicemail port configured 4)Traverse to Voicemail tab and click on Dial Voicemail Preferences IVR button Following message is displayed" "HTTP Status 404 - /webdialer/Webdialer type: Status report message: /webdialer/Webdialer description: The requested resource is not available" From the message it is not evident whether the Webdialer service is down or not activated or webdialer war files/package is missing. An appropriate error message like "Webdialer service is down.Please contact System Administrator for Assistance" a message something similar when CTI Manager is down must be displayed indicating the probable/reasons for failing to reach the service.
