Cisco Bug: CSCun93916 - ENH: Need PEAP MS-CHAPv2 for Anyconnect

Last Modified

Aug 30, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:
This is an enhancement request for supporting PEAP-MSCHAPv2 in AnyConnect.
AnyConnect, so far, only supports the following EAP methods: MD5, GTC, and MSCHAPv2.

One of the big reason for this request is that it is currently not possible to integrate AnyConnect with ASR/IOS and AD as Identity Store using password based EAP methods.

The only way to make it work is to use EAP-TLS.

Conditions:
none
