Cisco Bug: CSCun79975 - EMC-ENTRANCE:FCoE confcheck for ISSD from 627
Last Modified
Feb 16, 2017
Products (1)
- Cisco MDS 9000 Series Multilayer Switches
Known Affected Releases
6.2(7)S34
Description (partial)
Symptom: ISSD from 6.2(7) to lower version on M9700 is allowed, despite the VLAN, Ethernet-port-chanel and VFC interface configurations being present. If any or all of these configuration(s) is present before the downgrade on a subsequent upgrade to 6.2(7) we may see issues involving either port-channel configurations failing, VFC bring-up or FCoE traffic getting affected. Conditions: On ISSD from 6.2(7) to a lower version on the M9700 platform the the Ethernet related configurations should all be removed by the user. For most of the configurations there is a config check provided to ensure this happens. This config check does not exist to three configurations (1) VLAN and VLAN to VSAN mapping (2) Ethernet port-channels related configuration (3) VFC interface related configuration
