Description (partial)

Symptom:
The MediaSense Install/Admin Guide for MediaSense 8.5(4) and 9.0(1) describes the following in regards to the restarting of several different services:
"The existing recordings before the restart will not be available after the reactivation."
This has led users to believe de-activating and re-activating services like the Database service will affect existing recordings stored on that server, when in fact this action only affects Active or In Progress recordings during the time of the de-activation.

Conditions:
Starting and stopping of MediaSense services via the Serviceability webpage.
