Cisco Bug: CSCun76738 - SPA500S (SCCP)-Mismatch blf LED if button layout used in ephone-template

Last Modified

Jan 27, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Small Business IP Phones

Known Affected Releases

7.5.5

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Customer requirement is to have dedicated buttons for speed dial keys, preferably in one of the first five buttons on the SPA525G2 phone. If button-layout is configured under ephone-template and applied to the phone, there is a mismatch in BLF LED. When one line on a sidecar is pressed for speed dial or to transfer a call, while the calls connects fine to the correct extension, the busy lamp for a different line lights up causing confusion for the user.

If no button-layout is used, BLF LED works correctly.

Conditions:
UC500 with latest Software Package / CME 8.6
IOS - 15.1(4)M6
SPA525G2 with SPA500S sidecar
Phone firmware - 7.5.2c / 7.5.5
