Description (partial)
Symptom: "ifmgr" crashes when attempting to unbind a non-existing port from a VDC. Conditions: A line card must be misreporting how many ports it has. Eg: a 32 port card reporting it has 48 ports, as seen in "show vdc internal port-hash". These non-existent ports may be bound to VDC1 by default. It's unknown at present how a card would get into this state. `show vdc internal port-hash` Interface If_index Vdc_id --------- -------- ------ (snip) Eth1/33 XXXXXXXX 1 . . . Eth1/48 XXXXXXXX 1 Note: If the above output is seen and slot 1 is a 32 port card, this is obviously abnormal. If it was a 48 port card, this is expected. The bug is triggered in the former case.
