Cisco Bug: CSCun68589 - fcoe VLAN-VSAN unmapping don't trigger IVR fcid-rewrite-list calculation
Jan 30, 2017
- Cisco MDS 9000 Series Multilayer Switches
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: IVR will always take either fc or fcoe path based on whichever has less cost. When we shut the ISL used by IVR for transit vsan path then it should use another ISL to reach to target. But shifting from/to fc-fcoe has a problem with rw-adj programmed in acl. For fc path the rw-adj should contain rw_vsan and for fcoe path rw-adj should contain rw_vlan. So, when IVR config is shifting from fc to fcoe rw-adj for that ivr entry should be modified to contain rw_vlan and similarly when its shifting from fcoe to fc isl the rw-adj of ivr entry should be modified to contain rw_vsan. Conditions: This issue is seen with below mentioned IVR configuration: 1. Connect two switches with fc and fcoe isls. 2. Configure IVR for two devices connected on these two switches with external vlan mapping for transit vsan.
