Last Modified

Aug 01, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

4.2.3.CE

Description (partial)

Symptom:

Adding a link oam profile that supports uni-directional link fauly detection (UDLF) to an interface that does not support UDLF does not emit a warning message about the misconfiguration.

Link-OAM will still operate on the interface but the user may not be aware that the UDLF feature is unsupported.

There is no functional impact, the UDLF feature will remain disabled on the interface regardless of the configuration.

Conditions:

This issue affects ASR9K IOS XR releases from 4.3.0 until 5.2.0.
