Description (partial)

Symptom:
Failover within the system is mainly automatic. However there is one scenario which is not and needs to be managed more carefully. This is failure of the A Side/Primary Database server. Failure of the B side/Secondary server is less impacting but will still require some additional steps to recover from. This document covers these steps also.
The primary server is the one which under normal operation is used to bring data into the system and is also the server which is used for provisioning. If this server is no longer available for an extended period for some reason. It will become necessary to manually configure the system to provision and pull data in from the B side. It should be noted that the failover manager is NOT for use in this scenario and will fail to work.
