Description (partial)

Symptom:
N7K FEXs might crash with below errors without save core dump

2014 Mar  3 08:18:25 DALS_SW1_C7009_MDF-Production SYSMGR-FEX109-3-BASIC_TRACE core_copy: PID 1476 with message Core not generated by system for satctrl(0). WCOREDUMP(9) returned zero .

Conditions:
normal operation but signal 9 might be related to memory leak.  memleak would be a separate issue and need root cause to confirm.
