Description (partial)

Symptom:
APIC GUI/REST APIs allows for configuration of  maximum number of prefixes that BGP can receive from a BGP peer.  This feature is not supported even though configuration is allowed.  No fault is raised to indicate that this feature is not supported.  Configuration is silently ignored by border leafs when the configuration is pushed by APIC.

Conditions:
When user configures BGP maximum prefix policy either through APIC GUI/REST APIs.
