Cisco Bug: CSCun46505 - ENH: ASA parser should align more closely with IOS CLI behavior
Nov 27, 2020
- Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Some CLI errors for certain command options may not align as expected to where the error occurred. Conditions: As example the '^' may not align correctly where the error occurred: ASA(config)# vpn load-balancing ASA(config-load-balancing)# interface lbprivate test (test is not a real interface, note the '^' is in the wrong spot) ^ ERROR: % Invalid input detected at '^' marker. The '^' should show up under the 't' for interface 'test' as this interface does not exist. We should align our CLI more closely to IOS behavior.
