Last Modified

Feb 26, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco Email Security Appliance

Known Affected Releases

8.0.1-107

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Within the SNMP logging (even trace) there is no friendly usable data (information) provided for a customer to troubleshoot an SNMP issue or track and event. It would very helpful to redefine the log to translate the OID into human readable format and proved valuable data after the event identified.

Example
Mon Mar 3 18:39:02 2014 Trace: .1.3.6.1.4.1.15497.1.1.1.10.1.1.3 has had its value(s) refreshed.
Mon Mar 3 18:39:02 2014 Trace: .1.3.6.1.4.1.15497.1.1.1.2.0 has had its value(s) refreshed.

Purposed output
Mon Mar 3 18:39:02 2014 Trace: Workqueue: workQueueMessages.0; Value (Gauge): 20,000
Mon Mar 3 18:39:02 2014 Trace: powerSupplyRedundancy: powerSupplyRedundancy.1; Value (Integer): powerSupplyRedundancyLost (2)

Conditions:
Normal operation
