Last Modified

Sep 21, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco Carrier Routing System

Known Affected Releases

5.1.11.ROUT

Description (partial)

Symptom:
CEs connected to BGP Auto-discovered core VPLS with BGP signaling protocol cannot ping after changing control-word configuration under autodiscovery bgp sub-mode on both PEs.

Conditions:
The symptom is observed on XR5.1.11, with BGP Auto-discovered using BGP as signaling protocol. Toggling control-word on one PE does not trigger the symptom; both PEs have to be changed.
