Description (partial)
Symptom: If a QoS policy is applied on a VLAN which is not active on any ports in the system and if the TCAM Region for VLAN QoS is not carved, the error is not reported right away and is reported when the first port is brought up. Also, all the VLANs on that port are error-disabled instead of the VLAN that is affected. Conditions: - All the ports in the VLAN are down. - A QoS service policy is applied on the VLAN when VLAN QoS TCAM region is not configured. - No error is given yet to the user as the policy is not yet pushed to the linecard. - When the trunk interfaces are coming up they will go to error disabled as TCAM region is not configured.
