Description (partial)

SPA 508G Intermittent phone lockup issues.

Conditions: Firmware 7.5.5 SIP

Symptom: When a call comes in and the SPA phone user tries to answer it, the LCD on the phone will freeze/lock up with "Answering" on the screen and the call is not connected. The user must then do a hard reboot of the phone.

- The user dials a phone number (outbound call) and then waits for the dial-plan timeout to occur. Once this happens, intermittently the LCD screen freezes up with 'Answering' on the screen. User cannot neither hear a dial-tone, nor press any keys. The phone itself is completely locked up. However, upon accessing the Web GUI during this period we see the "Next Registration" is in "0s". The Next Registration stays on 0s and if you let the phone sit for long enough, you will see the phone's device in the PBX changes to Unregistered. The phone will stay locked up indefinitely until user unplugs it and plugs it back in.
