Symptom: 1) Create a SNMP-Probe: probe snmp db_maintenance_1 port 161 interval 10 faildetect 1 passdetect interval 30 passdetect count 1 receive 5 version 2c community xxxxxxxx oid .1.3.6.1.4.1.3966.1.3.2.3.1.4.8.100.98.50.109.111.110.112.49 threshold 1 type absolute max 1 2) Do a 'show running-config' (a 'show startup-config' shows the same):Threshold is removed. probe snmp db_maintenance_1 port 161 interval 10 faildetect 1 passdetect interval 30 passdetect count 1 receive 5 version 2c community xxxxxxxx oid .1.3.6.1.4.1.3966.1.3.2.3.1.4.8.100.98.50.109.111.110.112.49 type absolute max 1 3) Do a reload of the standby ACE and then another 'show running-config': probe snmp db_maintenance_1 port 161 interval 10 faildetect 1 passdetect interval 30 passdetect count 1 receive 5 version 2c community xxxxxxxx oid .1.3.6.1.4.1.3966.1.3.2.3.1.4.8.100.98.50.109.111.110.112.49 both the threshold and Absolute max has been removed from the probe and this cause FT be in standby cold. Conditions: Threshold configuration on SNMP probe causing the ACE to be in standby cold
